TRECC Africa scholarships available to students and staff from various African countries to study at one of the consortium partners. The consortium provides postgraduate (doctoral and master) training to 72 postgraduate students and 8 staff members in Africa.
TreccAfrica (Transdisciplinary Training for Resource Efficiency and Climate Change Adaptation in Africa) will provide doctoral and master’s training to 80 postgraduate students in Africa at six leading African Universities to provide the next generation of academics and professionals who will be able to address an interlocking set of real challenges for Africa’s future development: climate change and resource depletion.

Students are invited to apply for bursaries to further their studies from the Maize Trust. The most important conditions of the bursaries are as follows: Students must be South African citizens and busy with fulltime study. The bursaries are only for Masters and Doctoral studies. The field of study must be relevant to the South African maize industry. The topic for the thesis must be approved by the Maize Trust.
