Kumba is seeking candidates for its bursary programme who have an excellent academic record and who wish to pursue a degree or diploma in the following fields of study: Mining engineering Metallurgical engineering Electrical engineering (Heavy current) Mechanical engineering Industrial engineering Civil engineering Geology (Honours) Minerals Surveying (BTech)

The Sasol Foundation Bursary who are planning to study full-time towards an undergraduate degree to pursue STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) careers. Priority will be given to degree studies that are in line with future needs including specialisations in study disciplines such as Engineering & Technology (including Green Technology), Data Science, Agricultural Science, Environmental & Medical Sciences, Construction & Manufacturing, and Financial Sciences among others.

Sibanye-Stillwater is an independent, global precious metal mining group, producing a unique mix of metals that includes gold and the platinum group metals (PGMs). Sibanye is offering a limited number of bursaries to students currently doing full time studies in the fields of Engineering (Mining, Mechanical, Metallurgical), Finance and Human Resources. Preference will be given to local communities and sending areas.

Bursaries are awarded for full-time university studies in engineering and science. Upon successful completion of the study period, students may be employed within the Sasol Group through our Graduate Development Programmes.

South Deep Education Trust bursaries are focused on creating educational opportunities for youth in Westonaria, where the company’s South Deep mine is based. This Grant is open to Historically Disadvantaged Individuals from low-income households in the communities surrounding the South Deep Mine and/or the Labour Sending Areas. The Grant is open to students in their first three years of tertiary study (unless the trustees deem a particular case exceptional and decide in their discretion to award an Educational Grant to a post-graduate student.
