The African Peacebuilding Network (APN) of the Social Science Research Council (SSRC) invites research grant applications from African researchers, policy analysts, and practitioners working on conflict and peacebuilding issues at universities and research institutions or regional governmental and nongovernmental organizations in Africa.

Short Courses offers opportunities for short-term post-graduate training delivered in Australia and/or in Africa for up to three months. The training targets experienced employees from African public, private and non-government organisations (civil society) in the following fields: Agriculture, Extractives and Public Policy.

The Australia Awards are prestigious international scholarships and fellowships funded by the Australian Government that aim to contribute to the long term development needs of Australia’s partner countries, in line with bilateral and regional agreements. Course Level: Scholarships are available to undertake full time undergraduate or postgraduate study at participating Australian universities and Technical and Further Education (TAFE) institutions. Study programs must relate to applicants country’s priority areas for development. These are listed on the participating country profiles.

The Baldwin Fellowships help students from developing countries get advanced education and training in paleoanthropology and primatology. These fellowships are intended for scholars and students of a developing country who wish to obtain an advanced degree from an institution outside the student’s home country.

Chevening Fellowships are awarded to talented professionals who are potential future leaders, decision-makers, and opinion formers. The fellowships offer financial support to mid-career professionals already in positions of leadership and influence. These people are active in their field or subject and are looking to further enhance and expand their knowledge, skills and expertise by spending time in the UK on a short course or for a predetermined period of self-directed research.

Chevening Scholarships are the UK government’s global scholarship programme, funded by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) and partner organisations. The programme makes awards to outstanding scholars with leadership potential from around the world to study postgraduate courses at universities in the UK. The Chevening programme was established in 1983 and has developed into a prestigious international scheme. Chevening Scholars come from more than 150 countries and territories worldwide (excluding the USA and the EU), and this year the Scholarships will support more than 1500 individuals. There are over 43,000 Chevening alumni around the world who together comprise an influential and highly regarded global network. The programme provides full or part funding for full-time courses at postgraduate level, normally a one-year Master’s degree, in any subject and at any UK university.

The Department of Arts and Culture is inviting applicants who have not participated in any Internship programme and currently unemployed and should not have had previous formal employment related to their field of study. Candidates must have completed a 3 year Degree or National Diploma in any field specified below and who are between the ages of 18 and 35 years. Qualifying people with disabilities are encouraged to apply.

The Fulbright Foreign Student Program enables graduate students, young professionals and artists from abroad to study and conduct research in the United States. The Fulbright Foreign Student Program operates in more than 155 countries worldwide. Approximately 4,000 foreign students receive Fulbright scholarships each year.

Scholarships are available for various Masters programmes offered in English at various universities in Belgium. There are various 1 and 2 year programmes available.

The SARB serves the economic well-being of South Africans through maintaining price and financial stability. It is responsible for the regulation of the South African financial sector, design and distribution of banknotes and coin, management of interest rates, setting the cash reserve requirement for banks, and ensuring stability of both the banking sector and the wider financial system. The SARB GDP seeks to contribute to selected graduates overall economic activity and output by equipping them with knowledge of, skills in, and exposure to the role of the central bank in the economy and of the financial sector in general. Graduates will have the opportunity to work for a reputable institution that has a critical role to play in the South African economy.
