The CSIR hereby invites applications from students wishing to pursue a career in research, technology development and innovation as well as corporate/support areas.

Who Can Apply
This bursary is offered to both undergraduate and postgraduate students who are South African citizens. Students must be unemployed and studying full-time BSc, B Eng, BSc Honours or B Tech, MSc and PhD. Must be enrolled full-time towards the degree of choice at a South African public university.
Current Grade 12 learners who intend enrolling full-time for the degree of choice at a South African public university may also apply. Requirements for Grade 12's is: English (Level 5), Mathematics (Level 6), Physical Science (Level 6).

This is a comprehensive bursary and it covers all the costs associated with university studies, such as:
• Registration fees
• Tuition fees
• Books
• Accommodation
• Living Allowances
• Once off laptop allowance
Duration
Funding is for the duration of the studies
Service Contract
Graduates will be required to work for a period that corresponds to the duration of the bursary. Vacation work is required.
