The Square Kilometre Array (SKA) will be the world's largest and most sensitive radio telescope, about 50 times more sensitive, and up to 10 000 faster (in terms of its survey speed) than the best radio telescopes of today. The following students are eligible to apply for an SKA SA national diploma bursary: South African citizens and permanent residents Students who wish to study, are studying, towards any one of the following diploma National Diploma in Electronic Engineering National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering National Diploma in Construction Management

Engineering, Mathematical Sciences, Science
Who Can Apply

Students who have achieved a minimum C in Mathematics AND Physical Science in Grade 12, or a minimum of 60% for their major subjects at national diploma level
