Aircraft Electroplater

An Aircraft Electroplater is responsible for electroplating metal parts and components for aircraft. They work in manufacturing, repair, or maintenance facilities, and ensure that all parts meet the required safety and quality standards. Aircraft Electroplaters use various chemicals, solutions, and equipment to apply coatings and finishes to metal parts, protect them from corrosion, and improve their durability.


Tasks:

  • Prepare metal parts for electroplating by cleaning and polishing them.

  • Control the thickness and consistency of the coating to meet required specifications.
  • Monitor and maintain the electroplating equipment and chemicals.
