Cloud Computing Analyst

A Cloud Computing Analyst is responsible for designing, deploying, and managing cloud-based solutions for businesses. They analyse business requirements, identify cloud computing solutions, and implement them to optimise business processes. They also provide support and troubleshoot issues related to cloud-based applications, platforms, and services.


Tasks:

  • Analyse business requirements to identify suitable cloud computing solutions.
  • Design and implement cloud-based solutions.
  • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for cloud-based services.
  • Ensure the security, availability, and performance of cloud-based applications.
  • Monitor and optimise cloud-based infrastructure to ensure efficient operation.
  • Collaborate with other IT professionals and business stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and adoption of cloud-based solutions.
  • Keep up to date with the latest developments and trends in cloud computing technology.

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of cloud computing technologies, including public, private, and hybrid clouds.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based services, such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
  • Proficiency in programming languages, such as Python, Java, or Ruby.
  • Experience with DevOps tools and methodologies, such as Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of networking, security, and storage technologies.
