Railway Steward

A Railway Steward is responsible for ensuring that passengers on a train have a safe and comfortable journey. Their primary duties include assisting passengers with boarding and disembarking, providing information and directions, maintaining cleanliness and order on the train, and serving food and beverages.


Tasks:

  • Greet passengers as they board the train and help them find their seats.
  • Provide information to passengers regarding the journey, such as estimated arrival time and connecting trains.
  • Ensure that passengers are comfortable by adjusting temperature and lighting and providing blankets and pillows.
  • Maintain cleanliness and order on the train, including cleaning restrooms and disposing of trash.
  • Serve food and beverages to passengers, including taking orders, preparing food, and handling payment.
  • Respond to passenger requests and complaints and address any issues that arise during the journey.
  • Ensure that all safety protocols are followed, including checking tickets and securing luggage.
  • Assist passengers with disabilities or special needs, including providing assistance with boarding and disembarking.

How to Enter
