This short course serves as an introduction to career development practice for those involved in frontline career guidance.   

Accreditation:

  • ETDP SETA: 117865, Assist and Support Learners, Level 4, Credits 5
  • SACE: 15 CPD Points

This programme is offered online and is instructor-driven meaning that there will be a set lecture timetable. There is also a self-study component.

The Career Development Information Officer is a recognised occupation that requires accreditation through training and experience. This programme aims to fill a gap in the career guidance profession so that CDP’s are accessible to people throughout the country, including teachers, labour centre officials, government workers, human resource practitioners and community counsellors.
