The African Scholars’ Fund supports scholars who are registered for Business and Engineering studies at Public TVET Colleges. Students wishing to attend Public TVET colleges in the following areas: Free State, Western, Eastern and Northern Cape. These courses are shorter, less expensive and very effective in leading to employment. The African Scholars’ Fund supports scholars who are registered for Business and Engineering studies at Public TVET Colleges. Bursaries are offered for full-time studies only. Should your application be successful, we will pay your registration and full course fees.

In our quest to develop African researchers for African development, we’re seeking intellectually curious postgraduate students who are study towards a Masters degree in economics or related field and who have a passion for real-world development.

The FNB Fund Bursary Programme provides tertiary education access for learners who are academically capable but financially disadvantaged.

The national bursary programme of the Institute dates back to 1935. The Sishen Iron Ore Company-Community Development Trust (SIOC-cdt) was formed by Kumba Iron Ore Limited, in order to invest in developing the communities within which the company operates. The SIOC-cdt has provided over 550 bursaries to deserving underprivileged students in its beneficiary communities, to complete their studies higher education institutions across the country.

The Standard Bank Group Bursary is specific to undergraduate students that are on track to successfully complete their 1st year and require funding from their 2nd year of studies onwards. Applicants should be well-rounded with strong academic results in the fields of Agriculture, Commerce, Engineering, Mathematics, Science (Actuarial, Analytics, Business, Computer, Data, Information), Statistics, Technology (Financial, Information) and the disciplines in the emerging field of Behavioural Economics (Economics, Behavioural Finance, Sociology, Psychology, Neuroscience).

The Imfundo Trust Scholarships provide funding to study on a full-time basis for undergraduate and selected postgraduate degree programmes at selected universities in South Africa.

Toyota South Africa Motors bursary fund has been established in an effort to provide support to its communities, specifically to emerging talent who proudly display commitment and excel academically. Toyota's vision is to contribute financially and to equip successful candidates with workplace experience through vacation work and potential exposure to Toyota's flagship graduate programme. Bursaries will be awarded to students pursuing full time study in the following fields: Commerce, Engineering and Science.

For residents of Uitenhage and surrounding areas who have good marks in Mathematics, English and Science, and wish to study or are studying in the Engineering, Finance, Computer Science, Science or Commerce fields.

The Foundation offers high school scholarships to learners who demonstrate the potential to excel academically, and who have the desire to fully engage in available opportunities. Scholarship recipients, known as Allan Gray Scholars, receive funding for high school tuition. It is the Scholarship’s vision to develop a community of young entrepreneurially minded leaders so that Scholars will become Candidate Fellows or gain access to university. The Scholarship was created to broaden the pool of Fellowship applications from those who are able to demonstrate financial need in Southern Africa. Students who are currently studying or matriculants who intend studying towards a Chartered Accountant (SA) qualification. Under-graduates currently studying in a CA stream towards a BComm Accounting, BAcc, Business Science, CTA, HNS or equivalent. If you are in matric then you will only be considered for bursaries if they achieve at least a "C" symbol for maths on Higher Grade in your June exams. Bursaries will be awarded to persons who the firm believes have the commitment to qualify as a chartered Accountant (SA), have an academic record which indicated the ability to do so and with due regard to financial need.

The Coronation Exceptional Student Bursary is looking for students who aspire to pursue any commerce degree, along with an exceptional track record. The bursary programme seeks to provide full support to well-rounded individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds. In return, the bursary requires work-back commitment once their degree is completed.

The IDC provide finance for industrial development projects by promoting partnerships across industries within and outside our borders, promoting regional economic growth. The IDC provide bursaries to students who qualify for admission to a University or University of Technology or who are currently studying at a University or University of Technology.
