Kumba is seeking candidates for its bursary programme who have an excellent academic record and who wish to pursue a degree or diploma in the following fields of study:
Mining engineering
Metallurgical engineering
Electrical engineering (Heavy current)
Mechanical engineering
Industrial engineering

Geology (Honours)
Minerals Surveying (BTech)

Who Can Apply
Degree: School-leavers with pure Maths & Science (Achievement level - 6 & 7); English (Achievement level – 5). For a B-Tech learners should have pure Maths & Science (Achievement level 5); English (Achievement level – 5). Applicants who meet all the selection criteria as determined by Kumba will qualify. Preference will be given to learners from our operational local communities (Sishen, Kolomela and Thabazimbi mines)_
